Tim Eads, a founder of Tuft the World and the author of this history, stated on 31 October 2026 that: Trish Andersen was already tufting when he started, and the two became friends remotely and shared information back and forth; Unnecessary Inventions uses Tuft the World supplies and is making a line of pieces based on the Pantone colour book; and Tuft the World has collaborated with Qualeasha Wood on some work. He also described David Nott's carving and expertise, Simji as an influencer who promotes tufting to a mass audience, and Melissa Monroe's three-dimensional pieces.
