Research notes

Tim Eads, a founder of Tuft the World and the author of this history, stated on 28 October 2026 that the ZQ-series pneumatic tufting machines Tuft the World sold (the ZQ-III, and the earlier ZQ-II) were made by Dayang of Shantou, China (tool-dayang-guns), and that the supplier of its other tufting guns (the AK-I, AK-II, KRD-I, Duo, AK5 and AK-III) is to be given as Tuft the World itself. Not yet backed by invoices or supplier correspondence.
