SOURCE NOT FOUND. The quotation could not be found anywhere. The nearest is Baidu Baike's 手工打结地毯是现代地毯的雏形 ("hand-knotted carpet is the prototype of modern carpet"), an encyclopedia line rather than hand-knotters' own words. Don't quote this until a source turns up. A far more generous framing than the Western "machines destroyed the craft". Citation check (Oct 2026, from search results; pages not opened): source not found. No source found. The nearest is Baidu Baike: 手工打结地毯是现代地毯的雏形 (hand-knotted carpet is the prototype of modern carpet). That is weaker than 'machine carpet technology evolved from hand-knotting', and it is an encyclopedia line, not a statement by hand-knotters.
