Research notes

These are the last tufting filings found for Scholz. The Hofmann history page says Scholz left the company in 1979, the year of these priorities, and died in 1989. Verified Oct 2026 by web search only. patents.google.com and Espacenet could not be opened from the sandbox, so I did not read the document itself. The number, title, priorities and publication date come from the EPO Global Patent Index record. That record's snippet did not show the applicant. "Hartmut Scholz" as applicant comes only from a citation row on another Google Patents page, so treat the attribution as probable. Research note (Oct 2026): found through search results; the patent document itself wasn't opened. The Patent drawings job fetches the document from Google Patents; if drawings appear on this record, the number is confirmed.
