Research notes

This is a post-war Danish hand-held carpet-making device. Google Patents classes it under D05C15/06 (hand tufting needles; hand-held tufting apparatus), and its indexed keywords (needle, eccentric, crank, oscillation) point to a crank-driven reciprocating needle. Family members found: DE854562C "Handgeraet zur Teppichherstellung" (a search snippet gives 1951 and says it was published alongside GB674501A) and FR1034542A "Dispositif à confectionner les tapis à la main", whose original assignee is FELICITAS AS (priority 1 Apr 1950, filed 29 Mar 1951). Verified Oct 2026 by web search only. patents.google.com and Espacenet could not be opened from the sandbox, so I did not read the document itself. Application GB17874/50 and the dates come from the Google Patents record as summarised in search results. The Felicitas attribution rests on the shared 1 Apr 1950 priority with the French patent. Research note (Oct 2026): found through search results; the patent document itself wasn't opened.
