Research notes

DLG description: "Gordon County, ca. 1920s?. Family making tufted bedspreads at their home. Note the early automobile parked in front. It is possible that this image has been incorrectly labeled as a photograph." Date uncertain (catalogue's question mark). Why it matters: Dalton bedspreads: one of the earliest images of home hand-tufting of bedspreads in north Georgia, before the 1930s roadside trade. Found: Digital Library of Georgia, search "tufted", 2026-10-28.
