Research notes

A 1960s yarn-feed pattern attachment. Google Patents keywords for it are yarn, feed roll, pattern and speed. A British counterpart (GB1123540A) has the same title and the same 15 Sep 1966 priority. A Callaway Mills 'Pattern attachment' (US3435787A, filed 18 Apr 1967, published 1 Apr 1969) appears in the same citation lists. These show that by the mid-1960s, carpet mills as well as machine makers were patenting yarn-feed pattern control. Verified Oct 2026 by web search only: the number, title and filing date come from Google Patents snippets. The inventor and assignee were not visible, and I could not confirm whether it is a scroll or a roll design. Research note (Oct 2026): from search results; pages not opened.
